Accessibility statement

Our target

We build to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Every critical flow — signing in, choosing a target, practising, running a mock panel, and checking out — is tested with automated checks on every release and with manual keyboard and screen-reader passes before release.

Built in, not bolted on

• Audio is never required. Every practice question and every mock panel can be completed by typing. Nothing is locked behind a microphone.
• Timers can be extended or switched off. Practice and mock panels offer an untimed mode. We never ask you to disclose a disability to use it, and we never infer one.
• You can correct the transcript. Speech recognition misreads accents, speech differences, and trade vocabulary. You edit the transcript before it is scored, and the correction is not held against you.
• No meaning is carried by color alone. Verified, stale, strong, and weak states each carry a word and a shape as well as a color.
• Scores have text equivalents. Every chart and score visual has a readable text alternative.
• Motion is optional. We respect a reduced-motion preference, and no animation carries information.
• It reflows. The interface works down to 320 CSS pixels wide and at 200% zoom without loss of content or function.
• Targets are reachable. Controls are at least 24 CSS pixels, and primary controls are at least 44.
• Focus is always visible, headings are semantic, form errors are described in text and announced, and every page has a skip link.

Fair evaluation

Our evaluation set includes non-native English speakers, speech that transcribes poorly, very short answers, and career-changer answers. We measure whether the model penalises accent markers, grammar, age-coded experience, or lawful accommodation language — and we block a release that does. This is a standing test, not a one-time audit.

Known limitations

This service is in development and has not yet been through an independent accessibility audit or a screen-reader review with people who rely on one daily. Both are required before public launch. We would rather tell you that than imply a level of assurance we have not earned.

Reporting a barrier

Email support@wiretohired.com with the page, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology and browser you were using. Accessibility reports are prioritised above feature work. If something blocks you from using access you paid for, tell us and we will refund it while we fix the problem.
